Privacy Policy

• Account details — your name, email address and a securely hashed password, or your basic Google profile (name, email, photo) if you sign in with Google.
• Practice activity— your answers, scores, progress and test history, including recordings of your spoken responses for speaking tasks (that’s what gets scored).
• Face sign-in signature — if face verification is enabled for your account, we store a mathematical signature (a list of numbers) derived from your face scan. We never store the photos or video from the scan, and the signature cannot be turned back into a picture of you.
• Security signals — sign-in times, session information and an approximate location (city/country) derived from your IP address, used to keep accounts safe.

Only to run the Service: scoring your practice, showing your progress and analytics, keeping your account secure, and sending you account email (like password resets and a welcome message). We don’t run third-party ads and we never sell your data.

Like most modern apps, we rely on a small set of service providers to operate. Your data is shared with them only to do the jobs described here:

• hosting and databases (Vercel, MongoDB Atlas, Railway);
• automated scoring — spoken responses are processed by Microsoft Azure Speech, and written responses by OpenAI, to produce your practice scores;
• audio storage for your speaking recordings (Cloudflare R2);
• email delivery (Hostinger);
• Google, if you choose “Continue with Google”.

We use cookies strictly to keep you signed in and to protect your account. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

• You can remove your face signature at any time in Settings; the next sign-in simply asks you to set it up again if face verification is required.
• You can edit your name and password in Settings.
• To delete your account and its data, email us at connect@ptemonster.com from your account email and we’ll take care of it.

We keep your data while your account is active, and security records only as long as they’re useful for protecting accounts.

The Service is not directed at children under 16.
