PTE Prediction Questions — Updated for July 2026

Updated for July 2026. PTE draws its exams from a large but finite pool, so questions genuinely repeat — and practising the ones appearing most often in current exams is the single most efficient way to prepare. PTE Monster ranks every question by how recently it has shown up in real exams, so your time goes to what is most likely to appear next, not random practice.

How PTE Monster's prediction tiers work

All questions

The complete bank for each task type — the widest coverage for thorough practice across everything that could appear.

Exam questions

Questions reported in recent real exams. These are the high-frequency items worth prioritising as your test date approaches.

Predictions

The subset ranked most likely to appear next, based on how recently and often each has been seen — where to focus in your final week.

Why repeated questions matter in PTE

Because the same questions recur across test versions, a candidate who has already practised a Read Aloud text, a Write from Dictation sentence or a Re-order Paragraphs passage answers it faster and more accurately on exam day. That advantage is largest on the memory-heavy tasks — dictation, repeat sentence and the fill-in-the-blanks — where recognising the item is half the battle.

Prediction is a study aid, not a shortcut: it tells you where to spend your limited practice time, while you still build the underlying skills. Used well, it is the difference between practising 500 random questions and practising the 200 most likely to matter.

An honest word on 'exam questions'

PTE Monster does not leak or guarantee exam content, and no legitimate platform can. Our tiers are built from questions that have genuinely appeared in recent real exams, ranked by likelihood — a prediction, not a promise. Treat a high match rate as a strong sign you are well prepared, never as a reason to skip building real speaking, writing, reading and listening ability.

Frequently asked questions

Does PTE repeat questions?

Yes. PTE Academic and PTE Core draw from a large pool, so many questions recur across test versions — especially memory-based tasks like Write from Dictation, Repeat Sentence and Fill in the Blanks. Practising the high-frequency ones is a well-known, efficient strategy.

Are PTE prediction questions the real exam questions?

They are questions that have appeared in recent real exams, ranked by how likely they are to appear again — not a leak of your specific test. No platform can guarantee your exact questions; treat predictions as a way to prioritise practice.

Can I rely only on prediction questions to pass PTE?

No — use them to focus your practice, but still build genuine skills. Prediction tells you where to spend time; your speaking fluency, writing accuracy and listening precision are what actually earn the score.

How often are the predictions updated?

The tiers reflect the most recent real-exam sightings in the question bank, so the Predictions and Exam tiers shift as new exams are reported and the freshest, highest-frequency questions rise to the top.
