PTE Academic Mock Tests with AI Scoring

PTE Monster's PTE Academic mock tests recreate the real exam: the same three-part structure, strict timers that auto-submit, an exam-style interface, and an AI score report with an overall estimate and all four skill bands within minutes of finishing. The papers are drawn from the same bank of repeated real exam questions you practise, so a mock rehearses both the pressure and the material of test day.

Three ways to test yourself in PTE Academic

Full mock test

The complete paper — Part 1 Speaking & Writing, Part 2 Reading, Part 3 Listening — around two hours under continuous exam conditions.

Sectional mock tests

One skill at a time under real timing: a 29-question speaking section, timed writing tasks, a 17-question reading section or a 13-question listening section.

Mini tests

A short timed set for one skill — a few questions in a few minutes — for daily practice between full mocks.

How PTE Monster scores your PTE Academic answers

Speaking answers are transcribed and assessed by an acoustic speech model for oral fluency and pronunciation — the dimensions PTE Academic itself reports — alongside content scoring for what you actually said. Writing is graded in seconds against task criteria (content, form, grammar and vocabulary) with the same word-limit rules the real exam applies.

Reading and listening answers are scored instantly and deterministically, applying the real exam's negative-marking rules on multiple-answer questions and Highlight Incorrect Words. Every score here is a PTE Monster practice estimate designed to track how the real exam behaves — not an official Pearson score.

What the score report shows

Every mock finishes with a scorecard: an estimated overall band on the 10–90 scale, separate speaking, writing, reading and listening bands, and a per-question breakdown so you can see which task types cost you marks. Speaking and writing scores stream in progressively while the AI grades them — the same 'scores in a few minutes' experience as the real test's score report, compressed into minutes.

Frequently asked questions

How long is a full PTE Academic mock test?

About two hours across three timed parts: Speaking & Writing together, then Reading, then Listening — the same structure and ordering as the real PTE Academic exam.

Is the mock test scored like the real exam?

Scoring mirrors the real exam's behaviour: acoustic assessment of fluency and pronunciation for speaking, criteria-based grading for writing, and the exam's exact marking rules for reading and listening — including negative marking on multiple-answer questions. Results are practice estimates, not official scores.

Can I pause a mock test?

Timers behave like the real exam — parts run on strict clocks and unanswered questions auto-submit when time runs out. You can resume an interrupted test from where you left off.

What is the difference between full, sectional and mini tests?

Full mocks reproduce the whole exam; sectional mocks time one skill (for example the full 17-question reading section); mini tests are short timed sets for quick daily practice.
