What are PTE prediction questions?

PTE prediction questions are real exam questions expected to appear in upcoming PTE tests, identified because recent test takers report meeting them. Pearson assembles every exam from a finite question pool, so questions genuinely repeat; ranking the reports by how recently and how often each question is seen produces a prediction list. On PTE Monster that ranking is a live tier, re-ranked as new exams are reported.

How a question becomes a prediction

A test taker reports it

After each exam, candidates share what they met — dictation sentences, Read Aloud texts, essay prompts. These reports are called exam memories.

It is matched against the bank

Each report confirms which bank questions are active in current papers. Multiple recent reports of the same question are a strong signal it remains in rotation.

Ranking turns evidence into a tier

Questions seen recently and often rank highest. A monthly PDF freezes that ranking on publish day; a live bank keeps re-ranking it — which is the difference between a prediction file and a prediction tier.

What predictions are — and are not

A prediction is a statement about where to focus practice, never a promise about your specific paper. No provider sees Pearson's exam assembly, so honest prediction material is always probabilistic: it concentrates your hours on the questions with the best evidence of being active. Treat any site promising a guaranteed match percentage with suspicion — the input data (user reports) cannot support a guarantee, and the serious providers do not make one.

Frequently asked questions

Are PTE prediction questions real exam questions?

They are real exam-style questions that test takers report having met in recent real exams. Because PTE draws from a finite pool, practising them means genuinely rehearsing material that may reappear — but no honest provider promises any specific question will be in your paper.

How accurate are PTE prediction questions?

Accuracy depends on freshness: a ranking built from this week's reports reflects current papers far better than last month's PDF. That is why PTE Monster re-ranks continuously instead of publishing editions — and why no serious provider quotes a guaranteed match rate.

How should I use prediction questions?

Practise them under real exam conditions, starting with your weakest skill's most-repeated tasks — Write from Dictation, Repeat Sentence, Read Aloud and fill-in-the-blanks. Recognising a question is not the same as scoring on it, so answer them timed, with scoring, not from a list.
